Resurfacing from the cave after almost two straight weeks of transitioning from Mac to Linux — and being very thorough to get things working squeeky clean on a minimal install of Fedora.
Of course many new shiny toys to consider. Levels of control that don’t really exist in Mac land or exist behind some really brutal hackery (like window management and menu bars).
It feels good. And what’s more, what an insane feat of mastery this Asahi team has pulled off. Now I need to resist the urge to install Steam and actually use my 32core GPU and 64Gb of RAM…
