Reading a paper on critical thinking, where it mentions Edward De Bono’s Six Thinking Hats. Flashed me back to primary school, where I remember this being taught to us.
I had difficulty learning at school. My mind was always paying attention to the things that didn’t count in tests.
In this instance, I remember that instead of learning which hat defined which style of thinking, all I could think about was why hats had those specific colours? Why was the white hat associated with information gathering, while the black hat was the “conversational agent”.
